What is it?
A Notice to Manualholder (NTM) is a publication which informs companies of revisions made to the content of a manual.
The publication contains an update summary and the actual replacement manual pages. Manual users are encouraged to
update and maintain all of their manuals.
How do I know if I have the most current version of each manual page?
All NTM publications include a checklist that specifies the current edition dates for each page in the manual section.
We have included NTMs for all of the 2009 filings. Older NTM publications will be scanned and published to our website in the near future.
Are NTMs provided for all lines of business?
Filing services and publication distribution are available for the following lines:

Where can I find NTMs on the HIB website?
Log on to the HIB website. Under the 'Recent Publications' section, select the ‘View All Publications’ link.
Recent Filings are listed on the screen. For a specific line of business, use the 'Filter by Line of Insurance'
drop-down menu. Under the Filings tab, select a filing to view the associated NTM. If a NTM is available,
the file will be visible in the lower frame with the approval circular, loss cost spreadsheet, etc. Select the
file to view. To update your manual, simply print and replace with the ‘new’ pages.
What if no NTM is listed in a particular filing record on the HIB website?
Distribution of revised manual pages may take up to 6-8 months after the approval date. We are currently
in the process of scanning and publishing our NTM archive for the older filings.
